Sacrificial Anode – Protective barrier against electrolytic corrosion
Recommended to be used with salt chlorinators, this zinc sacrificial anode protects pool equipment from electrolytic corrosion. It acts as a protective barrier for metal components such as stainless steel ladders, heat pumps and exchangers, UV-C stainless steel casings, lighting niches and face rings, aluminum pump motor housings and titanium cell plates in salt chlorinators. For optimal performance, the anode should be replaced once approximately 50% of the material has eroded, typically after around three years of use.
